Baby Chicks welcomed in our Library!!

End of April/beginning of May in the Library

April has been an exciting month in the library! We learned all about the chicken life cycle as we anxiously waited for our eggs to hatch. 

We welcomed 9 chicks with 4 of them hatching during school hours! We had a live feed on them so classes could see the incredible process in real time!

 Cheers could be heard throughout the school as they emerged! All the classes have had an opportunity to visit with the chicks and witness how fast they grow. 

They have brought so much joy to the school. They have gone to live their best life on the farm, but we are so grateful for the amazing learning experience!
