Earth Day with Mme Van Kats Gr 3s

On Earth Day, we were fortunate enough to spend most of our afternoon outside. 

We took the opportunity to write in our English journals for our projects for Cultural Week. 
We are exploring "Why Are We Here?"- one of the four guiding questions of the late Honorable Murray Sinclair.

We also enjoyed listening to the wonderful book called "We Need Everyone" by Micheal Redhead Champagne, which discusses the special and unique gifts that each one of us has and how we can use them to make the world a better place.
