June Library Update- Summer Reading & Chicks to Chickens!

This year, our Library Learning Commons has been full of curiosity, creativity, and connection! Students explored new genres, discovered favorite authors, and built a strong reading community. From quiet reading moments to collaborative projects, our journey has been one to celebrate.

Reading over the summer helps keep young minds active and growing! When students continue to read, they maintain the skills and confidence they built throughout the school year. Even a few minutes of reading each day can make a big difference and help students to be ready to return to school.

More importantly, summer is a wonderful time to read for enjoyment—to explore new interests, revisit favorite characters, and discover stories that inspire imagination and curiosity.

Our Divisional online library SORA is a free resource that all students have access to over the summer. You can access SORA as a guest either through the app (iOS or Android) or the website:

Chick update! Our chickens are living their best life at Ferme Fiola! They continue to grow and thrive! They appear to be escape artists so they have a new enclosure to keep them safe!

Have a wonderful summer!
