Pj Party & May is Music Month! Bonnycastle Music Update

May Notes from the Music Room

Did you know that May is known as Music Month in Manitoba? During the month, we celebrate the vital role music education plays in our schools and communities. 

Students at Bonnycastle are engaged in many music making experiences. Our Kindergarten students are working very hard on their upcoming concert, Pyjama Party, and look forward to sharing their songs with you. 

Grade1-3 students have been playing a variety of instruments, singing different songs and playing many games. 

Grade 4 students have started working on their Grade 4 farewell songs and are also enjoying learning to play the recorder. 

With our school wide cultural celebration next week, we look forward to exploring a variety of music from around the world with all grades.
