3M Winter-Themed Activities

Students in Grade Three have been working on a variety of winter-themed activities. The students planned, wrote and shared what life would be like inside of a snow globe. They also created a snow globe with Styrofoam snowflakes and clear plastic plates to complement their snow globe writing. 

During Writer’s Workshop, the class focused on using transitional words to write and illustrate a “How To Build a Snowman” book that students proudly shared with their Grade Two reading buddies. The students displayed lots of enthusiasm, creativity and originality in their writing projects.
