Zones of Regulation:  Many of our students have been learning about the Zones of Regulation. We learn best when we are in the Green Zone.  Some children like to go for walks, read a book, take deep breaths, play alone, think of their family, cry it out, play with preferred friends or run and move their bodies when they want to move back into the green zone.

Ask your child what works for them when they are in the red, yellow or blue zone and want to get back to the green zone.

Gr. 4-5 Marathon Club will be starting for Gr. 4-5 students at the end of April.  The first one is on Wednesday, April 30th. There are a total of 10 runs that will be offered for Marathon Club participants over the lunch hour in May and June. Please check the website calendar for Marathon Club dates.

Music Notes: Bairdmore School has been honoured to host some amazing music performances over the past weeks. Please ask your child about the Acadia band performance and about the Fort Richmond Collegiate Choir who shared their love of music with our students.

Grade 3-5 Choir will continue to meet on Day 3's at 11:10. A reminder that students should be coming to every choir rehearsal. We will continue to meet to prepare for our music celebration assembly in May.
