Circle of Security Parenting program
Circle of Security Parenting is a free attachment-based parenting education program that aims to help parents and caregivers with children from birth to 6 years old better understand and strengthen their relationships with their children.

Family Engagement Mentorship for Newcomer Women
Family Engagement Mentorship for Newcomer Women provides opportunities for newcomer women to gain Canadian experience and opportunities to work in areas including as Child Care Assistants, program mentee facilitators, and family resource centre staff in school or community settings.

This session will provide valuable information on signs of fraud and scams, and build your skills to stop fraud.
Employment
Date: May 11, 2026
Time: 1 to 3 p.m.

This session will be beneficial as you will learn more on employment agencies, information about job fairs, job retention skills, and employer's expectations.
Housing
Date: May 13 and 27, 2026

Learn tips for paying your rent, maintaining your house, and having a good relationship with your landlord.
Transit
Date: May 25, 2026

Through the session, you will learn types of transportation available, common polite behaviour and rules using public transport, what you should know about transportation during winter, the use of emergency buttons on public transport, and much more.
Beginner conversation circle
Date: April 23, 2026 to March 18, 2027
Time: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Location: 584 Pembina Highway, Room 206
This is a great chance to learn new vocabulary, practice speaking English with confidence, and improve your fluency.
Childcare is available by registration only. Childcare is available for evening programs, but there is no childcare available for Monday afternoon sessions. Childcare spaces are limited, so please register early.
Interpretation is available upon request for any of the information sessions.
A light snack is also provided for in-person sessions.

Sara Riel Foundation - Healing Together: Supporting a Loved One on Their Journey to Recovery
Do you, or someone you know, have a family member who is experiencing substance use or addiction issues... and just don’t know what else you can do?
You can join SR Training for our two-evening session interactive workshop designed for families and friends who want to:
- Better understand addiction and their loved one’s behaviours
- Find support and be able to share concerns without judgment
- Learn recovery-focused, compassionate communication styles
- Be able to develop and set clear and respectful boundaries
- Access an ongoing drop-in support group specifically for families
Workshops are the first and second Thursdays of every month, from 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm
- Week 1: Understanding Addiction and Addressing Behaviours
- Week 2: Compassionate Communication and Recovery Options
- Workshop fee: $70* (includes both sessions light refreshments provided)
