Dalhousie Daycare

Dalhousie Day Care Inc. is located in Dalhousie school, we are a nonprofit, government licensed child care centre providing quality care for children 5 years to 12 years of age. We are open year round, including school in-services, winter and spring break and throughout the summer. We are closed holidays as permitted, i.e. New Year’s Day and Louis Riel Day.

Program

Our program incorporates a variety of activities to meet the developmental needs of children. These include crafts, drama, music, cooking, gym activities and science. We are fortunate to have use of the Theatre, Library, Art Room, and the Breakfast Room to implement these and other activities. In addition, we provide field trips and on site visitors to further expand children’s knowledge of the world around them.

Hours of Operation

We are open school days 7:30 am – 8:50 am and 3:35 pm – 6:00 pm for children Kindergarten to Grade 6. School in-service and breaks we are open 7:30 am – 6:00 pm.

Fees & Registration

We are government subsidized and parents who qualify may receive assistance from the Provincial Government. Forms are available through the day care or online at
