School Guidance and Counselling Services
School guidance and counselling services are focused on providing support in the following areas: social/emotional issues, educational goals, and career development. Counsellors work with students, teachers, parents, and outside agencies to ensure student success at school. Each student is assigned a counsellor when registering at Institut collégial Vincent Massey Collegiate.
Our goal is to provide a continuum of preventive, developmental, and intervention services within the school and facilitate referrals to community resources. We are members of the student services team, and work in collaboration with resource teachers to ensure student success.
