Reports and Plans
School Plans and Reports
The Prairie Sunrise School Plan is updated and revised each school year to reflect progress and refine our yearly school goals. Each year, Prairie Sunrise School also publishes a year-end community report which provides valuable information about our school's programming and initiatives throughout the school year and our progress toward our school plan goals. Both documents are available through the link on the right hand side of the page.
Student Plans and Reports
Strong Beginnings
Strong Beginnings takes place in mid-September. During these two days, students will not have regular classes. They will have an hour-long one-on-one meeting with their teacher. This time allows the teacher to assess the student in key math and language areas. It also allows the student and teacher time to get to know each other better. The information gathered during these two days of appointments is used to plan school-wide and classroom programming and support.
Report Cards and Conference Evenings
Students will receive three report cards per school year. In addition, student growth, challenges and next steps will also be shared with the student and his/her parent at our two annual tri-conferences. These are an excellent opportunity for students, parents, and teachers to celebrate the learning that has taken place and discuss student goals.
Parents and guardians need not wait for formal opportunities to discuss student progress. Please contact your child’s teacher anytime you have questions or concerns.
