Library

Whyte Ridge School is home to a very warm, welcoming, child friendly library which has become the heart of our school.

Our goal at Whyte Ridge is to instill a love of learning and reading. Our library provides rich literacy opportunities from a wealth of quality literature books, inquiry based learning through both books and through technology. Various themes and topics are featured throughout the year. The Teacher-Librarian and Library Technician work closely with classroom Teachers on project based learning. Individuals, small groups and classes of students are a buzz in the Whyte Ridge Library as we inspire our young readers.

Students from kindergarten to grade 4 are encouraged to sign out books to carry the love of reading home to share with their families.
